Early Sunday morning, Hugh, Sofia, and I drove to Courtenay to witness Bethany getting baptized. It was such a blessing to be there and to hear her testimony and the testimonies of others being baptized that day. Sometimes, as a Christian, we can get a little....I guess disillusioned is the word I'm looking for. We see what's happening around us in the world and wonder what the heck we're even doing here. It was encouraging to see that God IS still working in people's lives. He's transforming lives! :o) If I haven't seen that happen in awhile, I tend to forget. Sunday morning brought it all back to me, and I was very humbled by it. Thank you, Bethany, for inviting us to be a part of that. I was proud to see you up there and, simply, to know you. :o)
